  • How to choose the right size

    The MONDOPOINT sizing system is basically the real foot length in centimeters (i.e. 26.5 cm). This system is commonly used in the ski boots industry. Every authorized LANGE dealer has a specific LANGE tool to measure the feet of the customers. (display the Lange Footsizer) To have a correct foot measurement, you have to :

    • 1. Sit on a chair or bench
    • 2. Wear a pair of ski socks
    • 3. Stand up over the Lange Footsizer, making sure both the heels are in contact with the rear wall
    • 4. Act on the front alignment bar and move it close to the toes till you get the contact with the bar
    • 5. Check the related feet length displayed on the Lange footsizer. Please, make sure you always take the longest foot measurement as the correct ski boot size.
    • 6. You now got the correct boot size. LANGE recommends to take the exact MP size.

    In any case, please rely on your authorized LANGE dealer to have the best support.

  • How to get inside and check the fit of the boot

    • 1. Please, sit on a bench or chair, wear a pair of ski socks.
    • 2. Open the buckles and the velcro straps, make sure the paper (normally located inside the tip of the liner ) has been removed completely.
    • 3. Step in the ski boots by holding it from the tongue strap and simultaneously by pushing the foot in.
    • 4. once in, hit the heel of the boot on the floor to make sure the foot slides back in the boot
    • 5. tighten the buckles starting from the first one (on the tip of the boots) and all the way up to the 4th, then, in the end, the strap
    • 6. stand up and flex firmly
    • 7. In case an extra retention is needed, tighten the buckles once more.
      If, just after the above listed operations, the toes still hit the inside of the boot, then it is the case to go for one size bigger ski boot.

  • How to correctly set the foot retention and flexibility of your new LANGE ski boots

    • 1. Please, step in your ski boots and close the buckles and the straps. Make sure you do not tighten the buckles too much.
    • 2. Approach your first downhill of the day at medium speed
    • 3. If the feet retention is too loose, tighten the buckles associated to the areas where you need to increase the retention;
    • 4. If the flexibility of your ski boot is too soft, tighten either the cuff buckles or the Velcro straps or both;
    • 5. If, the Ski boots are too stiff, you can slightly open the straps or the cuff buckles or both to get a softer flex.
